Disconfig is a tool for designing and applying Discord server configurations. By using it you agree to these terms.

What the service does

You design a server layout, review a summary of every change before anything happens, and our bot applies it to a Discord server you control. An optional bot stays in the server afterwards to run temporary voice rooms and audit logs.

What you need

• A Discord account in good standing, and compliance with Discord’s own terms.
• Manage Server permission on any server you configure. We check this on every request; we do not take your word for it.
• To be old enough to use Discord where you live.

Changes to your server

This is the part that matters most, so it is not buried:

• Nothing is applied without your confirmation. Every build shows what it will create, change and delete first.
• Deletions are opt-in. Removing channels or roles that are not in your design requires ticking a separate box, each time.
• Deletions are permanent. A deleted Discord channel takes its messages with it. Our backups record your server’s structure, not its messages, so a backup can rebuild a channel but cannot restore what was said in it. Discord provides no way to recover deleted messages, and neither do we.
• You are responsible for what you approve. We show you the plan; the decision to run it is yours.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

• configure a server you do not have permission to administer;
• break Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
• build servers dedicated to harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, or illegal activity;
• attack the service — automated abuse, attempts to exhaust rate limits, or reaching for data belonging to other users.

We may suspend access for any of these, without notice where the harm is ongoing.

Third-party bots

The catalog links to bots we do not operate. Adding one is a separate authorization you give directly to that bot, on Discord’s own screen. What it then does, what it collects, and whether it keeps working is between you and its developer. We describe what each bot is for and generate an invite link; we make no promises about any of them.

Availability

The configurator is free and provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime, and we depend on Discord’s API — when it is down or rate-limiting us, builds queue or pause. A paused build can be resumed; nothing already created is lost.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranty, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of messages, members or data arising from changes you approved. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

Stop whenever you like: remove the bot from your servers and delete your projects. We may end your access for a breach of these terms. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the service after a material change means accepting it.
